The Belmont offers adult only accommodations, 3 minutes’ walk from Shanklin Beach on the Isle of Wight. It has free Wi-Fi, free parking, and a garden and sauna to relax in. It was a lovely place to stay. A Victorian villa which still has many original features, including beautiful stained glass windows. The room was clean and tidy and the hosts were most hospitable. There were some lovely touches, such as complimentary drinks and snacks. It was lovely to sit out on the front veranda with a coffee. The rear garden was well tended and the large swimming pool was fantastic. The only improvements i could suggest are a shower instead of the bath in Room 3 and a washing line in the garden to dry wet swimming kit, but these weren't issues. We had a warm welcome and the breakfasts were exceptional.

Very comfortable hotel and very friendly hosts. Our room was spacious and very clean with everything we needed. We could leave the car at the hotel and walk to the sea and restaurants.

Room 20 has a fabulous view of the Church and you can walk straight out onto the veranda to enjoy the morning sun 😎 Linda and Des went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcome, giving lots of useful tips on Restaurants and places to visit 💞 The Hotel was spotlessly clean and the food was divine, highly recommend and can’t wait to return 😎
