It is across the street from the world-famous Dixie Saloon and right by the Sheplers Ferry dock that takes you to Mackinaw Island. If you are looking for a place to stay, were you can walk to all the attractions, shops and restaurants, this is your place.

The location was great. The room was not very clean, the carpets weren't vacuumed, and there was mold on the shower curtain, and the room smelled horrible when we first got in. They didn't have sheets that fit the queen size bed so they used two smaller sheets overlapped to try and cover the mattress. The worst part was the floor had floorboards missing under the carpet. And as someone with a disabiy who walks with a cane, I almost injured myself multiple times even while trying to be very careful. Very un safe.

The room itself was worn and dirty near the beds. The door weather stripping is missing, allowing bugs to wander in. The floor in front of the door is warped so badly, my wife was unable to open the door by herself. The window air conditioning, has lost its ability to cool. Coffee maker is cheap and filthy, also wasn’t emptied from the last unsuspecting customer. We will never stay in that dive ever again.
