Rather dated in need of a refurb. Decent carvery meal

Looking in need of a good makeover, old carpets and tired looking. The mattress in our double room had springs you could constantly feel and a dip in the middle. There was also a frequent sound of running water like a drainpipe outside our room but it's wasn't raining. Pipes in other rooms running through ours?

Room was great , guy at desk was awesome , view from room was excellent. It's on my go back too list.
