We were taken back a lot when we finally arrived to Yellowstone Lake Hotel. A LONG trip for New Jersey visitors and front desk person who checked us in was not really into it. We had to ask for a map to get around. She just pointed to where the laundry services were BUT never told us we had to DRIVE to it! When we got to the room, it was HOT in there. NO AC! NO little refrigerator in the room, so we lost our leftovers that we brought after our long drive. NO place to unpack our clothes so we lived out of our suitcase. Toilet wouldn't turn off after flushing, had to jiggle the handle (sometimes it wouldn't flush) called maintenance and waited, waited and waited and so we left to go about our site seeing. the TUB filled up with water while showering AND sink leaked! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED! Even with the FOOD! EXPENSIVE AND FOOD WAS SERVICED COLD!! AND THEY DON'T TAKE CASH? Whatever! WE could go on and on BUT we all know that no one cares!! They got our hard earned money and THEY DON'T CARE! One vacation a year we take and this is what we got. Beautiful sites but BAD Accommodations. Won't be going back, unless we stay OUT of the Park. Sad, that we had to waste our time writing this review, but it feels good to get it off our chest. Especially when those higher up at these "Hotels" DON'T GIVE A DAMN!
