What isn’t in the listing is you will be charged 3% extra for using a credit card to pay at property . The Hotels, com confirmation didn’t say there would be a 3% charge for paying at the property. I only knew because I saw it on my credit card charge after we left the hotel. The office has limited hours. There was someone in the office when we checked in but not when we checked out. Nothing was mentioned about a 3% charge at check in. We didn’t sign anything and were only handed a key. We weren’t sure what to do with our room key at check out (it’s a physical key on a keychain not a card) and I asked someone else leaving at the same time. They weren’t sure either and said their key was taped to the office door when they got there. We left it in the room. This property was immaculate. It is older but well maintained. It is has no extras including no ice machine. It was a bit pricey for a clean, comfortable hotel room—especially when you add on 3% more.

The lake view was gorgeous. Sitting on the chairs watching the sunset was beautiful.
