Great location and a very convenient stay for exploring San Francisco! The hotel is newly renovated and fairly basic, but has everything you need, including free parking. It’s easy to get to Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Pier 33, and other main attractions, and Waymos were surprisingly affordable for getting around. The neighborhood is also walkable, with beautiful streets, and we felt the immediate area was cleaner and safer compared to some other parts of the city. We also had a lovely view of a beautiful old church nearby. Overall, a great stay if your trip is focused on sightseeing!

I try to avoid leaving reviews when I have a bad experience because I know everyone has their off days. But when management blatantly lies & refuses to refund me, then I feel I must warn others. I had booked a room for 3 nights and when I entered the room, felt immediately unsafe & uncomfortable. The bed was the only thing that seemed to have been tended to, as the sheets were made and tucked tight. However, the room was filthy and needed some serious attention. Not only were there holes and marks all over the walls and baseboards throughout the room, but the floors had not been cleaned and there were shoe prints in the bathroom and black finger prints on the door frame to the closet. There was also mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. I immediately went to ask for another room and the associate informed me they were fully booked for the night, but he would come upstairs to take photos to send to his manager. He then came back up with me, took photos, then went back to the desk. At this point I was concerned of what would happen if I slept there, so I gathered my things and went back to the front desk to return my key and inform them I would be going somewhere else and that Hotels would be in touch. Now after multiple attempts for Hotels to get in touch with the manager to approve the refund, they told us the manager said I never told them the room was dirty, nor did I say I was leaving...Needless to say I think his cameras covering the property would show otherwise.
