Staying for one night because of location, next to Madrid Atocha so convenient for early morning train. Booked a superior double and room was lovely but unfortunately these first impressions didn’t last. Hotel gives off a ‘cool’ vibe but maybe trying a little too hard, while price was good, they charge for everything extra, we had to pay extra for early check in to get into our room ☹️ However, things really took a turn when there were issues with the A/C, apparently many rooms experienced issues and only suggestion we got at 11 o’clock at night was, ‘they are happy to give a refund if we want to leave’!! Hardly great customer service and no managers around to work the problem, just left the young front desk staff to deal with as best they could. Good location but be aware of hidden charges and remote managers who do a great job of avoiding any issues!

The only thing that was not so great. Was the dishes n cutlery were never washed replaced down in the basement, where you can do your laundry, but there was an iron and an ironing board and they have live entertainment every tuesday night
