Really comfortable room and bed - clean and well maintained and good shower and amenities in the bathroom. Lots of lights, opening window and blackout curtains are all a major plus! Overall good experience for sleeping but breakfast left a lot to be desired - lots of very poor quality items - dry croissants and bread, fruit that looked very unappealing, terrible quality sausages in the hot breakfast. Very much quantity over quality! Tea and coffee machines are typical of most UK hotels now - very poor! Check in was easy but the casual aspect is almost too casual to the point that the staff just don’t seem to care. Shower drain could do with unblocking as it pooled and drained away very slowly. Grubby hairdryer! The over quirky decor based around local attractions (in this case Silverstone racetrack) is already feeling tired and a bit tacky.

Stayed for business, very good indeed and made a nice change from the traditional chains. WiFi worked great, shower was great, staff very friendly, room had some nice lighting touches. The only thing which was slightly inconvenient was the renewal of parking each day. Stayed for 3 nights but can only pay / book every 24 hours which either means you have to remember each day and / or watch the times. Arrived at 4pm, paid for 24 hours but then had to renew the following morning first thing as I wouldn’t have been back to the hotel in time later in the day. Would be far more convenient to be able to pay for the full duration up front, one less thing to worry about but overall that’s a minor thing, especially if you remember to do it!
