8/21/26 Something about Motel One in general - in München, Stuttgart, Innsbruck 1. Only ONE wastebasket in the entire room. Not only that, it doesn't have a replacement plastic bag. I was worried about the cleanliness and sanitation. Same with the sitting chair: there is only ONE in the room. The other would have to stand. 2. Like any other hotel, why is there only ONE luggage rack for a two-guest room? Couples or families must have at least two pieces of luggage. So one of the unlucky ones has to kneel on the floor each time to grab/pick up something from the luggage. A second folding luggage rack doesn’t take too much space in a tiny room. The bedside table could only fit one iPhone and charger. It barely fits another watch charger or a pair of glasses. 3. Speaking of tiny rooms, all the standard rooms we stayed in Innsbruck and München, except Stuttgart (we were kindly offered a disabled room, which was spacious), were barely big enough to walk around. 4. The bathroom was so tiny. One could barely turn around without hitting the wall or glass panel. The shower enclosure was so poorly designed; no matter how careful you are, after the shower, the only space out of the shower enclosure was 75% wet! What a mess! 5. The washbasin counter is very small and has only two paper cups. There’s no glass. After a few uses, the paper cups are gone. They’re practically useless. 6. The ongoing room rate seemed on the higher side. It doesn’t match what the room generally offe
