We had an amazing two night stay. As soon as we arrived the staff were beyond fantastic, the room was really clean, the bed was really comfy and the shower was great too. The breakfasts were delicious and we were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble. We could find nothing wrong with our stay and would definitely return when we are next in London!

I arrived very early as I had a morning flight. There were no rooms available, but the staff was very nice and held my bags until check in. The rooms were very quiet, even being on the side closest to the station. The beds were very comfortable. They offer a free drink from the bar if you don’t want house keeping every day! I felt very safe as a solo traveler. They also held my bags after check out until my late flight. When I visit London again, I will definitely stay here!

Premium price, but not a premium experience Sadly, this felt very poor value at the price per night. A shower with black mould should not be something you encounter in a hotel at this price, and the water pressure was awful. The room also lacked basic amenities I would expect at this level: no fridge or minibar, no dressing gowns and no in-room tea or coffee facilities. Instead, tea and coffee were available down the hall and items such as slippers could be purchased from a vending machine. The balcony was overlooked and had disappointing furniture, no comfortable chairs and no lighting, so it wasn’t an inviting space to use. Despite claims of soundproofing, we could hear guests above us and noise from directly outside the room. Breakfast was also fairly limited. Overall, there were too many shortcomings to justify the price, particularly the cleanliness issue in the shower.
