We absolutely love the OBX Motor Lodge. The rooms are spacious, amenities are great, and the view and access to the beach is the absolute best!

Rm 212 (2nd floor oceanfront king room) Room was great as always! Took some pics after our stay for posting so keep in mind it’s a little dirty now that we’ve lived in it for 4 days (& I had already stripped the beds - habit of trying to be helpful). We’ve been coming to this place for 20 years now and it’s great every time! The room was super clean and smelled super fresh and lemony upon arrival! The fridge was super cold and there were 2 ice trays in the freezer but also an ice bucket if you wanted to walk to the ice machine, there was also a microwave that worked good but is tiny (think dormroom, small but mighty). Did not use the mini stovetop but it looked updated/new. Not great water pressure in the shower but I expect that in OBX anyways. Love that there is a broom/dustpan in the rooms for when sand gets tracked in!
