The first floor room we had the first day, about halfway down the hallway was very mildewy smelling. We asked for an upstairs room and it was much better. We left the window ajar while we out to make sure it had fresh air. It was fine after that. The view was really nice and the restaurant for breakfast was really good. Pool area wasn't so clean or updated. The lakefront location was awesome though.

We enjoyed our stay and the great view we had of the lake. The staff was super friendly. Loved the breakfast in the dining room and it was just right to get your day going. The only reason I did not give it an excellent rating is the musty smell from the pool and carpeting in the hallway, our room was great and did not have this odor.

The setting was outstanding. The staff was friendly and helpful. Property was clean and well-kept for a building of its age. The negatives were the bed - it was very uncomfortable and the breakfast allowance. The $7.50 voucher covered less than half the cost of the meal. On the whole, I would consider this property for future trips.
