2nd best placed we stayed on our trip from CA to VA. Breakfast was great, staff was great up on the hill so no traffic noise, and the pool area was very nice touch to our stay. Only complaint was that the water was turned off without letting me know, when I got back to the hotel I didn’t know until I tried to turn on water even though you have to go up the stairs while passing the desk. Other than that would have been 5 stars

Room was clean, air condition works fine but has a musty smell when temp is above 68. Breakfast was ok, could be better. Laundry room works fine and price per load is fine. Staff was ok, friendly and helpful although they were very informal in the way they address you and how they dressed for work, all but Leslie who is the star of the hotel. She address you with respect, is very kind, goes the extra mile for the guest to feel welcome, verywell dress (use a uniform and wears it properly and complete), keeps the breakfast area very very clean and is always looking for ways to make the guest satisfied and welcome in all ways possible. Sink faucet leaks, you need to play “tetris” with it for it to close and not leak. A/C in my moms room freezed and drained all water iside the room but mantainance guide were very helpful and fixed it fast. He also give it a quick cleaning to the unit too which improved the musty smell.
