Everything about the hotel was fine until we were thinking of settling down for the night on the first evening. There must have been a wedding party or something in the hotel and the live band began playing directly beneath our room at around 9.00 pm although I’m not sure of the time. When it finished I’m not sure but it was certainly late enough to prevent us getting to sleep at a reasonable time. My point is that we were given no warning of this happening when we booked and it severely impacted any rest we got that evening. The second night was fine and I have nothing but praise for the hotel otherwise.

We found the hotel fine. But there were a couple of things that could be improved. Having a four poster bed post blocking the tv wasn’t great. I also thought the food could be improved. We felt it was a bit bland and we felt it was frozen food rather than fresh. I.e the fish. But the rooms were clean and other facilities made for a comfortable stay.

Generally the place was fine, the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy if a little small. But the shower adequate but the pressure was poor. We were on the top floor, maybe this made a difference? Breakfast was okay, the slight disappointment was via the other guests. I didn’t appreciate one child playing loud video games at the dinner table next to us, or the barking dogs at 4 am
