Really lovely relaxing , impressive Hotel. Looking a bit tired now . Stayed back in 2014 and then 2026 looks a bit dated in some places . Otherwise wonderful breakfast , comfy beds .

LIMITED ACCESSIBILITY / DISABILITY – CHAMPNEYS TRING I'm sharing this to help disabled travellers make an informed choice. Prior to my stay, I was told Room 73 had an accessible wet room. However, it had a low-level bath. Staff confirmed the information was incorrect and told me the hotel was full and Room 72 was the only room with an accessible wet room. The guest staying there was approached while eating her evening meal and asked to swap rooms with me. She agreed. Staff told me the accessible rooms are beyond the Garden Wing, at the back of the hotel. That, there are none near the main reception because rooms there can only be reached by stairs. There is no accessible parking immediately outside the hotel. There are 2 accessible spaces near the gym reception, closer to Room 73. We were told we could park and check in there. We could park there, but fitness staff said we couldn't check in and had to go to the main reception. The walk from the main reception to Room 72 took someone without mobility difficulties 5 minutes. Using a walking aid, it took me approximately 10 minutes each way. Breakfast is near the main reception, and the route includes long corridors and an incline. Other guests using mobility aids told me they'd experienced similar difficulties and were equally surprised by the location of the accessible rooms.
