For a Budget Motel, You get what you pay for. We were in town for a 4 day motorcycle rally. It satisfied our needs for a place to shower and sleep. We did not spend our days at the facility. No Pool etc. Sheets were clean, bed was comfortable, air conditioner worked well ( It was 90-100 degree days while we were there !) Plenty of water pressure, Shower got hot if you wanted that. Clean towels were provided every day. Room was dated but clean. Bathroom was clean - but the tiles in the shower could use a good grout scrubbing ( just saying...) Staff at check in was efficient and quick. Very quick interaction with cleaning staff one morning dropping off towels, Other than that we didn't have much interaction with anyone other than a wave hello. It met our needs at a very affordable price.

If you don’t want to offer smoking rooms, don’t offer smoking rooms, don’t just palm off the worst rooms to smokers. When I arrived the room was cold and I couldn’t get the heating to work. I went back to reception and the manager came over, he put the heating dials on one very specific setting and it did get warm, but only for a while then it started blowing cool again. The mattress was okay but the pillows were lumpy and it’s a good thing it was a king bed because I could at least fold the skimpy quilt in half to stay warm in the cold room. The furniture should have been thrown on the local tip, there was no bed side lamp and no convenient place to charge a phone near the bed. It’s a shame you can’t award minus stars.
