Our Clock Tower room was gorgeous, especially the near “floor to ceiling” views, but also because it was so well appointed. Comfortable chairs and bed, the inclusion of a shower and tub, kitchenette. However, the WiFi was TERRIBLE, which made their streaming-only TV impossible to watch (buffering nonstop). We bought breakfast items to have in the room only to find there is no toaster and the stove top doesn’t work (nor did the dishwasher). There’s an adorable electric fireplace in the bathroom, but it, too, did not work. For the room rate, these items should work, especially since most of them are advertised and/or featured in photos. The staff need to realize they are in the hospitality business. Coaxing a smile, or additional information, was a bit like pulling teeth. Finally, while we were there we encountered the monthly testing of the Tsunami Warning system. However, there was no mention verbally or in writing, that this happens. We, and the guests adjacent to us, were wondering halls and opening windows to locate the noise (an alarm and not the “moo” sound I was later told is more typical) and self-identify if we were in danger. I had to exit the building and locate someone to ask about the noise. In sum, it’s truly a beautiful space, which needs more regular maintenance, and some hospitality training.

Great location, views, and friendly staff. The pull out sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable for my teenager - maybe the best we've seen in a hotel. My only complaint is about the lack of appropriate toiletries. Our room had a high end shower and jetted two person hot tub. Yet, and the only soap provided was the mini bars of hand soap for face and hands.it would have been nice to have a quality body wash and bubble bath or bath salts for the tub. I didn't even think of bringing these things because I assumed they would be provided. The soaking experience after a long day was a bit disappointing with just water.
