The first room we were given was unacceptable. The curtains were ripped and dirty. The floor and bathroom were also not clean. We went back to the front desk and were told that there was only one room left and we could check it out. We did (Pirates Building) and it was better. The funny thing was the other woman at the front desk was on a call with someone saying there double bed room was not going to be clean and would they rather have a king with an ocean view?!?! Why wasn't I given that option? The place is quaint and I understand it is not a 5 star resort. If I was to go back, I would not go on a weekend and I would upgrade to a renovated room. We wanted to keep our window open since it was warm and to hear the waves but there was an event or wedding going on that we could hear the beat of the music way after 10:00. At 12:30 we heard people talking, yelling and laughing probably the partiers from whatever event was going on. The breakfast was good and the staff there were wonderful - much better than the front desk women who seemed they hated their job and wanted to be anywhere else!

The room was nothing like seen on the website. It was old, cobwebs and moldy. No tv. Beds were very small and only two pillows. Afraid to shower with all the mold. The outside was rustic and cute. The deer walking the grounds were awesome. But the rooms were the worst I’ve ever seen. It definitely hasn’t been updated since the 70s.
