This place is definitely good if you are trying to keep costs low. For context, I don't often spend much time in a hotel room when I travel, so I really only look for a decent room and bed in which to sleep and a shower to wash up. The rooms here accomplished what I wanted just fine, so I rate them as average, nothing spectacular but nothing bad. The only suggestion I would have going forward in terms of the rooms would be an overhead fan and vent for the bathrooms, I could not find it anywhere. Perhaps it was somewhere that I may have missed, but I definitely could not find a switch or knob for one. With that, it does appear that they are still working on some things with the hotel, so those may already be planned for the future. The service and staff were polite to me, especially in the morning when I went to check out. They offered a complimentary breakfast each morning, which wasn't large but great to have, especially for the cheaper rates of this hotel. Overall, compared to my experience of -- at this point -- dozens of other hotels, overall service is average, which again, is just fine by me. I don't expect them to be going out of their way for everything I might need, but some people expect and want that. As for a caveat, I didn't have any issues with anything, so I can't rate how such an interaction would have gone. As for the location, it is quite nice. It's right off the highway, very easy to get to, isn't far from places you might want to get to in town.

I am fairly certain that my sheets on the bed were not washed. There were dark hairs when we threw back the blankets. Gross. The sheets were wrinkled—definitely not freshly cleaned and made beds. The smell was moldy.
