After paying a premium because of U Mass Parents Weekend, I expected so much better. The restaurant staff was inattentive and overall service was horrible. Marriott charged for coffee in the morning and at almost $500 per night we were horrified that nothing was complimentary. The room furniture looked like it came from IKEA. I can’t believe Marriott’s name was associated with this hotel. Strongly recommend the Sheraton across the steeet…

While the hotel rooms were clean, the noise was almost unbearable. We booked the hotel for one night so that my daughter could take an early morning test in Springfield. When we checked in, it was so loud from the bar/restaurant that I could barely even hear the desk clerk. Then we stayed on the 16th floor and there were loud voices and teenagers (or maybe adults) in the hallway until around 3am. Lastly, the HVAC wasn't turned on when we arrived so it was 77 degrees in the room. When I turned it on, it made a loud noise the entire time it was running. After a few hours it got down to 72 degrees and I had to turn it off because it was so loud and we really needed to sleep. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you need a good night of sleep.
