This was my first stay at the Hotel Agenor and I was not really sure what to expect. From what I observed the guests were largely tourists like myself or people who were in Paris on business/for work and, overall, it was nice and quiet. I was very pleased with how clean my room was and with the variety of breakfast items in the morning. The eating area is small but very quaint. I chose this hotel, in large part, because of the price and its’ proximity to the Montparnasse train station and to several landmarks that were on my list to visit. I also wanted to not be right on the main street to help reduce noise. I must comment on the friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff. I want to especially recognize the nighttime staffer who gave me a charging block and charging cord (left at the hotel and unclaimed) for my iphone because my converter/adapter was not working and my phone was totally dead. I would have been hooped and probably of missed my train the next day if he hadn’t done that for me. I would stay here again in the future and recommend this hotel to others looking for a reasonably priced hotel room close to the train station and Paris landmarks.

Our stay in a double queen bed room was good but I will not call it excellent given the rent. The room did not have much place to keep our luggage. We used the floors and then walking around was a bit constrained. There was only a small stool for sitting for two of us although a small chair with back-rest was provided upon request! The staffs were helpful. Location was really excellent close to both bus and metro lines. The room was clean. Overall, I will rate is as good.
