Carolina Lodge is not what we expected. The floor was not swept or mopped. It was gritty and sticky. The staff made no effort to accommodate our child with towels and wash cloths. To add insult to injury, While we were out, staff member(s) went inside our room and remove our personal wash cloths. When the issue was brought to their attention, we were advised that the personal items were not going to be returned. During that same period, some cut off the refrigerator, causing a lot of water to get on the floor. Secondly, when we ran out of toilet paper, my wife called the front desk and requested more. She was advised to come get it. Further, the staff member stated that this was not a high-end hotel, no one was going to bring it. Finally, the staff was clearly not customer friendly or professional, at least not to us. The parking and air conditioning were great. CMM

My wife & came in town a few days to visit my parents. The room was clean & the AC worked great. The staff was very helpful & friendly. My only compliment would be that the lightly features for the sink area was hanging loose & shower needs to be updated. The hotel was in the middle of everything & not far from restaurants.

The room was updated and clean. The bed was comfortable, lots of hot water for the shower. Room AC was adequate. The reception room was used as a storage area so did not present well. The path to our room was cluttered with extra worn out chairs and tables for the staff to use the owner said. This did not present well and made us uncomfortable. Thank goodness the room served us well and we got a good night sleep.
