The single room was fine and reasonable value (the doors do shut loudly). The staff were all very friendly, helpful and impressive (excepting one rather sour lady behind the bar!). They were very polite and kind, it makes a big difference to how you feel about a hotel. The food was really good and not expensive, excellent value. The drinks selection was extensive. There's plenty of outside seating. All in all, I definitely recommend the hotel and would happily stay there again.

The room was fine with only a couple of minor niggles - the bathroom fan was noisy and seemed to stay on for a long time when trying to sleep; and it would have been helpful to have a USB/USC plug or socket in the room to recharge phones, laptops etc. The food was very good and reasonably priced, and the staff were great.
