Several item were filthy upon arrival. The fridge was really old and rusty at the bottom. The screen door was torn, and unable to be used. The door-wall track was filled with dead bugs inside and out. The outdoor furniture was dirty and old. Parts of the bathroom ceiling was ripped and the heated vent in the bathroom isn’t necessary for a summer visit and you can’t use the vent without it. The air conditioner was so loud, we couldn’t use it when trying to sleep. The view of the bridge was nice, but sadly I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

We had a great time and we were very glad to be able to take our dogs. Being right on the beach was really cool. Our cleanliness expectations were kinda low bc they allowed pets. Good thing. It was not clean.

This room was a nightmare! If I hadn’t arrived late I would have left immediately. I was booked for three nights, could only stomach one. The room was in the older motel building and looked nothing like the booking photos. The wall lamp next to the bed had a bare bulb. The air conditioner above the headboard was blowing dust and cobwebs out the vents, I slept with my head at the foot of the bed. The dresser drawers fell out when opened and were filthy with sawdust inside. A large end table and a chair were the only other furniture, no where to hang anything, no nightstands. The bathroom was worse, a real deal breaker. The wood toilet seat was cracked clear through one side. When I turned the water on at the sink it came pouring out from beneath the faucet and handles and ran down into the cabinet. The inside of the cabinet was completely rotten and BLACK MOLD covered the wall behind. One glance behind the toilet and it was easy to see they thought they were covering it up by painting over the mold. I checked out the next morning and when I told them why all I got were blank stares from the teens behind the counter. The room rate for three nights was $355. I guess I should call Hotels.com and plead my case for a refund. I see other complaints about the rooms in the beachfront building and the cleanliness of the beach and pool. This place has a 6.8 review rating. Don’t be fooled! I’m guessing the 10/10s given in 2025 are fake.
