When we first pulled in I was a little hesitate on the hotel due to how unkept it looked on the outside. Tall grass dead flowers and garbage. When we checked in the lady at the front desk seemed very tired. She seemed to have been dealing with an unhappy guest. We got our room key and headed for the room. As soon as we unlocked the door we were hit with an obvious cigarette odor. We booked a non smoking room. We called the front desk to let her know we obviously were given a smoking room and her fix was offering air freshener and to open windows. Other than that no issues

You get what you pay for. It was an inexpensive room for the night. The room was clean, but outdated. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot, and the receptionist was very friendly. The landscaping was overgrown, the lobby, hallways and stairways were dirty. There was some nutjob camped out under the portico playing on his phone when we walked in, totally oblivious that people were trying to walk around him to get in and out of the hotel. The breakfast was ok, but at least it was hot.
