Delightful historic property, could do with maintenance to some areas. The staff were all friendly and polite.

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. Staying in room 6. We had everything we needed in our room. The food was good value for money and well cooked and presented. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Downstairs the building was in good condition and nicely decorated. It’s obviously a very popular place. Its location was great with convenient parking. It was close to local shops and amenities. My only negatives were that the room was extremely hot as the towel rail had been on before we arrived. The bathroom was very tight for someone with mobility issues. Also the room needed some TLC. ( Flaking paint, especially on the bathroom ceiling, taps and shower were very lime scaled, toilet roll holder very loose. There was a rip in the easy armchair and bits of the bedstead were missing. The stair carpet in the hallway was very dusty and dirty.)
