The young staff were wonderful and very helpful, the manager was boorish and snappy. I stayed with my sister in law in a twin room and although quite shabby it was clean. The car parking facility was non existent and we had to go back every two hours to put a parking ticket on until 6pm and overnight to 8am there were no charges, so no relaxing in bed with a cuppa. We didn’t eat anything there choosing to eat out was a better more favourable option. We are both in our middle 70’s and although reasonably fit it was tough our own luggage

Room was spacious and clean the bathroom had toiletries and plenty of towels. Lovely food but the drinks prices were expensive compared to other pubs in the town. Pleasant stay we enjoyed.
