Have come here before with a good experience. This time I wasn't exactly impressed. Tried checking in at 3:20, Reception said room wasn't ready so I had to come back at 4. The other thing that I can say is, that when I showered that evening, the shower floor had a little debris including a black pubic hair. Also shower valve and grab bar were not secured. Room didnt smell but was not immaculate. Breakfast and hosts were good, although very cramped. I will consider if traveling back to Hoover area. 8.5 stars

I had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Birmingham/Hoover. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the staff provided excellent customer service throughout my visit. I appreciated the spacious accommodations and convenient location. It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and I would gladly stay here again when visiting the area. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers!
