1 Star - Extremely Disappointing Stay I stayed at this MainStay hotel for two full weeks, and my room was never cleaned once during my entire stay. No vacuuming, no sheet changes, no trash removal, and no fresh towels. When I asked about replacing my wet towels, I was told to bring the dirty ones down to the front desk myself. One employee said housekeeping cleaned rooms on Tuesdays, while another said Sundays. Neither happened. The room itself was outdated, had a strong old and musty odor, and looked poorly maintained. The carpet was damaged, with a large burned or missing section. Things got worse when I dropped a necklace behind the nightstand. While reaching down to retrieve it, I badly cut my finger on a large piece of old glass that had apparently been left behind. That was both unacceptable and a serious safety hazard. The hotel advertises breakfast, but it's extremely limited. There was a waffle machine, bagels, and cereal. While technically breakfast is offered, it is nowhere near what most travelers would expect based on other hotel experiences. The overall atmosphere felt more like a long-term residential facility than a hotel. Many people I spoke with had been living there for months, some for nearly a year or longer. As a traveler, it did not feel like a typical hotel environment. I rarely leave negative reviews, but the lack of housekeeping, poor maintenance, safety concerns, unpleasant odor, worn-out rooms, and inconsistent staff responses made this one of

The room was clean, spacious, and had everything needed in a convenient location (like outlets and shelves). The hotel itself was in an easy-to-access area by car. My only suggestion would be to get rid of the automatic sensor for the bathroom light/fan.
