Very glamorous bar and dining area - this and the location were the main reasons why we decided to book this hotel. However, the rooms are very dated and whilst they were clean, they were very noisy and didn't feel they were worth the high rates we paid. We had issues with the TV, only 2-3 channels were working, the others had no signal. In the bathroom, the paint was peeling off the walls and the overall design was not practical at all - no towel support near the sink, very poor lighting and difficult to put makeup on, due to how far the mirror was. Breakfast was also underwhelming, only limited British breakfast provided, no fresh vegetables or cheese available. The positives for this hotel were the charm of the building, comfortable beds and quality complimentary coffee and sweets however that doesn't justify the price. Our stay was okay but wouldn't come back

I absolutely adored this place. The effort that the housekeeping staff have gone to to make this place look wonderful is incredible. The atmosphere in the restaurant was wonderful and the bar too. The only thing I really missed was a little bowl of olives to go with my gorgeous glass of Sauvignon Blanc. It is a little bit dated in but a stunning building and beautiful bar. The little touches in the bedroom more than make up for the fact that there’s a few signs of a dated property. For instance, Ringtons coffee and biscuits and an amazing shower.

Staff great perfect location evening meal was nice breakfast was great, Only problem was one bar staff on after ten we waited twenty minutes for a drink still on one person wanting cocktails. We went to bed
