The property was an excellent price. It was clean and well taken care of. The only problem I had was coming from a long trip from California, we got there an hour early. They wanted to charge us for wanting to check-in early, so we pretty much waited in the car until 3 PM. This is the only property in all my travels that wanted to charge me for being there early if I wanted to check in. Obviously, a room was ready, but if I wanted to check in early, I would need to pay, and granted it was only $20 but the reason why I sought a cheaper hotel was because I didn’t want to pay any extra money. Most hotels are very kind and if they have it, they will let you in early, unfortunately, not in this case. We got back in our car looked for a bathroom and drove around town. The rest of the time we waited in the parking lot until I could officially check in. That completely threw me off, and left a bad taste in my mouth. Other than that, the hotel was immaculate. The beds were very comfy and the pillows were wonderful. For most people this might not bother them, but just in case it’s good to check ahead of time.
