Cute place. Enjoyed the restaurant. Country cooking. Baked goods were great from their onsite bakery. Room was cute in historic hotel. Note there is also a motel portion. Bed is quite high but there is a step you can pullout and use. Was a small kitchenette. Hot water was out in historic hotel Sat night to Mon, but they made that right with partial refund. I’d definitely stay here again. Enjoyed the rockers on the porch and their garden was beautiful.

I love staying at the Casselman over the past 30 years and though the motel section rooms are sparse, they are extremely clean and maintained. Basic amenities are all I need. An enjoyable time for an great price.

I would definitely go back to the Castleman. The room was larger than I expected, and the bed was comfortable. A yellowish stain on the mattress protector and a stain in the bottom of the bathtub were a bit unnerving, despite the rest of the room looking very clean. The amenities in the room included a microwave, Kurig, a small refrigerator, and a room air conditioner. The staff was friendly. I respect the restaurant being closed on Sunday, and will hopefully have a chance to return to try it in the future.
