I am handicapped and I did book a room on hotels.com, like I have done previously before at a stay at this hotel. When we arrived I informed the front desk clerk I was disabled due to a foot surgery and requested to be near the elevator if we weren't on the first floor. I had booked for a king bed as well. He was not helpful and didnt want to downgrade my reservation to a double bed stay on the first floor. He said that 1 side of the hotel had an elevator and the other side wasnt connected to the other side and has stairs only. I tried to either move to the elevator side if I had to be on the 2nd floor or like I said move to downstairs room. No assistance. I spoke with a different desk clerk in the morning and explained the situation. She said I could and should have been moved to downstairs or the elevator side. She was going to move me, unfortunately it was only a 1 night stay. I had a stroke in April and with my foot surgery I am unsteady and I have to hold onto both sides of the rails and do 1 step at a time. I just wanted a little assistance and understanding. The manager also was not helpful when reached out for help.

Nice stay. Room was clean, breakfast was alright, but staff was handling food without gloves. Facility was maintained well, but a musty smell was evident, indicating it needs some updating. A decent value for the money.
