Not a very friendly check in. The clerk provided zero information on breakfast or any other amenities. There was a cockroach in our room. The art in the room was horrible, especially the “art” above the toilet that includes a large brown smear across the bottom of the print that is within the color range of feces. Why not some art showcasing the beauty of Chestertown? The elevator floor was cracked and filthy. There is only one nightstand between the two beds. Double beds should have nightstands with reading lights on both sides of a bed for both people. Lastly, the street light outside our room was horrible. It is too bright, isn’t shielded so the light shines straight into the room and the color temperature is way too blue / white (probably 5,000+ kelvin) rather than a warm healthier temperature (2700-3000 kelvin). Our check out clerk was very friendly and the place is conveniently located.
