The room was fairly clean- if you ignore the rubbish we found belonging to previous guests. The bedside lamps etc were very dusty but bathroom was very clean. Don't expect much hanging space in your room.The interior design is more reminiscent of a shop display than a functional hotel space. Breakfast was a hideous bun fight. We opted to pay at Ginger Lily just to avoid the long weekend queues- and coffee that took forever to arrive. Staff were clearly paid to appear somewhat helpful, but the attitude was wanting.. After a lovely Marina Sands dinner we came back to the hotel for a nightcap and had to argue with the staff to order drinks when they told us the bar was closed ( according to their own info, we were still more than 10 minutes before last orders and 40 minutes from the bar closing. Eventually they reluctantly supplied the drinks although they clearly wanted to go home and provided tonic when we ordered soda.. By then we'd given up .. Disappointing!

The Indian lady that checked us in wasn’t too helpful. Her accent was strong and most importantly she failed to arrange to have our connecting rooms set up, leaving me wandering around trying to open up the 2nd room with only one set of keycards. She never informed of the wifi/breakfast and assigned rooms with no view, terrible! Fortunately, my wife was able to get someone else to move us to more accommodating rooms the next day. This hotel is situated at prime location on Orchard road, you’ll love it here if you like to visit the many shopping malls around here! To me, the most amazing thing is their breakfast at the Estate restaurant, it’s like a maze of many types of breakfast food! It’s huge and I’ve never seen anything like this! Come early, after 9:30am the place will be packed! Overall, we had a delightful experience here (and in Singapore)!
