Checked in, kinda sketchy but we were just there to sleep as we planned to hike all weekend. Within an hour full blown domestic violence scene next door, cops called. We checked out immediately. They did issue a refund which was generous as it was not required by policy. Would not recommend.

Pros: The housekeeping staff does an amazing job with what is there. The room was clean and the coverlets were new. The daytime desk lady was super. I called mid-afternoon because I knew we'd be late checking in. She confirmed our reservation and made a note we'd be in late. Cons: the property is desperately in need of a remodel. It is located in a sketchy area (some very interesting characters driving around when we checked in at 10:45). When we checked in, it took the night desk clerk 15 minutes to find our reservation, even after I gave him our reservation number. Although the room was clean, the hardwood floor was warped, there was no refrigerator or microwave, even though there was a spot for them, and there were questionable stains on the tub. The security latch was missing 2 screws and the remaining 2 were stripped out so the screws can't be tightened. We locked the thumb lock and put our suitcases in front of the door. The 2 ice machines were both broken, so we couldn't keep some medication cold. Overall, we would not stay here again unless forced to do so.
